Actress Kim Tae-hee will add strength to the ongoing popularity of the drama “Welcome to Samdal-ri”
According to an exclusive report by Star News on December 20th, Kim Tae-hee will make a special appearance on JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdal-ri”. The actress already completed filming her scene on the 18th.
Kim Tae-hee decided to appear in “Welcome to Samdal-ri” as a cameo because of her special relationship with the writer. “Welcome to Samdal-ri” screenwriter Kwon Hye-joo worked with Kim Tae-hee in tvN’s drama “Hi Bye, Mama!”, which is still considered one of the actress’s representative dramas.
Starring Ji Chang-wook and Shin Hye-sun, “Welcome to Samdal-ri” tells about Sam-dal returning to her hometown after losing everything while working in the city, meeting her childhood friend Yong-pil again, and finding love. Starting with 5.2% in the first episode, the drama is about to surpass 10% as it already achieved 8.3% rating in episode 6, which aired on December 17th.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-hee’s latest acting project is ENA’s “Lies Hidden in My Garden”, which aired in June.
