The Hanbada family of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is facing a wave of new changes.
ENA channel “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (directed by Yoo In-sik, written by Moon Ji-won, produced by AStory, KT Studio Genie, and Romance Crew) has only four episodes left. Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin)’s survival story at a large law firm has become a life-healing drama for viewers, providing pleasant laughter, warm emotion, and special excitement.
The reaction was explosive. The drama’s ratings are high at 16.3% (based on Nielsen Korea, paid households in the Seoul metropolitan area), and its popularity has dominated the ranking by an overwhelming gap. It was also ranked first in the TV drama category for five consecutive weeks with 59.5% of market share in the TV drama viral category (based on Good Data Corporation, 4th week in July) and the most viewed content in the TV non-English category (based on Netflix, 4th week in July) on the global OTT platform.
Woo Young Woo broke the wall of her own world and came out to the sea of Hanbada. It was a challenge and a change in itself. Woo Young-woo is growing up to be a true lawyer by hanging out and bumping into various people. In particular, Woo Young-woo’s lover, mentors, friends, and rivals expanded her world big and wide and supported her story more firmly. Not only their relationship with Woo Young-woo, but also the stories of each of them are adding to the curiosity. In response, Woo Young-woo, Lee Joon-ho (Kang Tae-oh), Jung Myung-seok (Kang Ki-young), Choi Soo-yeon (Ha Yoon-kyung), Kwon Min-woo (Ju Jong-hyuk), and Han Sun-young (Baek Ji-won) pointed out what to watch our for in each of their characters.
Woo Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho enter an official relationship! The ending of the “Whale Couple” romance
“Whale Couple” Woo Young-woo and Lee Jun-ho are in an official relationship. Their feelings for each other were affectionate and excited. However, the romance between Woo Young-woo and Lee Joon-ho is still difficult. Even though Lee Jun-ho knew that Woo Young-woo was not good at expressing her emotions, he still could not hide his disappointment after realizing that she didn’t know they were already in a relationship Lee Jun-ho chose a relationship that is not easy with Woo Young-woo, who is still unfamiliar with love, although they clearly like each other. Attention is focusing on how the “Whale Couple” romance will be in the future.
Workaholic Jung Myung-seok’s health signal, what’s going on?
Jung Myung-seok has lived a more intense, fierce, and diligent life than anyone else. Perhaps that’s why as a senior lawyer at Hanbada, he had enough to take pride in his life. However, a crisis has come for “workaholic” Jung Myung-seok, who only knew about work. At the end of the 12th episode, Jeong Myung-seok, who was coughing continuously, suddenly coughed out blood. His response, which shows his belated realization on his serious condition and his laugh which is a mixture of shock and despondence, amplified the audience’s curiosity about future developments. Questions are focusing on Jung Myung-seok’s story, which is still hidden behind a veil.
Will “Spring Day’s Sunshine” Soo-yeon have her spring day, too? → “Tactician Kwon” Kwon Minwoo’s dangerous actions
Choi Soo-yeon and Kwon Min-woo, newbie lawyers of Hanbada, also face different turning points. First of all, Choi Soo-yeon, who has been let down twice in a row, from the worst blind date with Kim Min-sik (played by Lim Sung-jae) arranged by Woo Young-woo, to the instant relationship with Lee Jong-kwon (played by Jung Wook-jin) who she met at the club. Expectations are high on whether love will come to her who is like “sunshine on a spring day.” On the other hand, Kwon Min-woo is using Woo Young-woo as a chance to join Tae-san, the nation’s No. 1 large law firm, by taking advantage of the secret that she is the blood daughter of Tae Soo-mi (Jin-kyung). His dangerous move, which is to accomplish the mission of “Make Woo Young-woo quit Hanbada,” is raising tension.
Han Sun-young, when will she use Woo Young-woo as ‘the decisive moment’ to beat her rival Tae Soo-mi?
Han Sun-young was the first to know the relationship between Woo Young-woo and Tae Soo-mi. Han Sun-young has to pull down Tae Soo-mi somehow, as Han is labeled “Always In 2nd Place” behind Tae Soo-mi’s Taesan Law Firm. Woo Kwang-ho (played by Jeon Bae-soo) has guessed that Han Sun-young’s big picture was the reason why his daughter Woo Young-woo, who has an autism spectrum, was able to join Hanbada. Woo Kwang-ho’s decision, which allows his daughter to be used “only once at a critical moment” to give her a chance in life even though he knows she will be used, is drawing regret. With Tae Soo-mi as the candidate for the next Minister of Justice, attention is focused on whether Han Sun-young will seek a “decisive moment” like what Woo Kwang-ho said.
Meanwhile, the 13th episode of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” will be broadcast on the ENA channel at 9 p.m. on August 10th, and will also be released on seezn and Netflix.
