The founder of JYP Entertainment, J. Y. Park, explained why his company rarely have scandals
On November 19, a video featuring J.Y. Park, the founder and CCO of JYP Entertainment, was published on the YouTube channel PsickUniv. It is known that J.Y. Park’s appearance is to promote his digital single “Changed Man”.
In this episode, J. Y. Park also mentioned how he treated the artists and employees at his agency.
In particular, the host Lee Yong Ju claimed that JYP Entertainment is known for not having scandals or troubles and credited J. Y. Park for this, saying the latter has “a good instinct”.
Then, he asked J. Y. Park to choose the most “dangerous” one out of the 3 hosts, in terms of making scandals, to which J. Y. Park selected Jung Jae Hyung.
According to J. Y. Park, he would watch out for Jung Jae Hyung by frequently holding meetings and having conversations with him, at the same time giving careful guidance and advice.
A key part of this is to be consistent, said J. Y. Park, who said that he will not let a long time go without meeting a “problematic trainee” in order to always understand them and keep them on the right track.
