Actress Ryoko Hirosua, who was caught at a hotel with a chef, claims that she was set up by her husband and her management company.
In an exclusive interview with Weekly Bunshun on June 22nd, Ryoko Hirosue officially spoke up about her recent affair, which has shaken the Japanese public. Here, the actress shocked everyone by confessing to having an extramarital relationship with Satoh Takeru and a stage actor before being caught at a hotel with chef Toba Shusaku.
According to the Japanese actress, she was set up by her husband and management company. Their aim was to receive a large sum of money from her lovers, the actress claimed.
“In 2014, after the photos were exposed and reached Satoh Takeru’s house, we had a meeting with all involved parties. My husband and the company decided not to make a big deal out of it after Satoh Takeru paid a large sum of money to keep them quiet,” Ryoko Hirosue said.
After having two affairs with Satoh Takeru, the actress continued to have an extramarital relationship with a stage actor. At the time, her husband, Jun Izutsu, and the management company continued to demand money and pressured Ryoko to break up with her lover.
Regarding her relationship with the Michelin-starred chef Toba Shusaku, Ryoko mentioned that the company representatives requested meetings multiple times. According to Ryoko, she wanted to go public with this relationship, and was in the process of negotiating a divorce. However, Ryoko’s management company disagreed and demanded that everything be settled amicably.

“I know that the company and my husband joined forces to bring me down. There is no way that my private diary and handwritten love letters to Toba Shusaku were leaked. My husband, Jun Izutsu, even held a press conference on his own without informing me,” Ryoko Hirosue said.
After Ryoko’s affair was exposed, Japanese media outlets reported that Izutsu was likely the one who leaked evidence of her infidelity. An insider revealed that they were living together for the sake of their two children but no longer had any emotional connection. Jun Izutsu also frequently engaged in extramarital affairs, but the media didn’t pay attention to them.
Ryoko Hirosue stated that she and her husband are currently separated and awaiting the completion of their divorce process. A source also told Weekly Bunshun that Jun wants to accuse Ryoko of infidelity to receive compensation and gain custody of the children, without providing financial support for Ryoko and their children after the divorce.
