Jang Young-ran exposes treatment at awards ceremony “No waiting room, infinite waiting + I’m still far from being A-class”
Broadcaster Jang Young-ran attended her first awards ceremony since her debut
On May 10th, a video titled “Shocking! Jang Young-ran Alone without an Agency Receives Sad Treatment at her First Ever Awards Ceremony” was uploaded to the “A-class Jang Young-ran” channel.
After receiving makeup and changing into a dress, Jang Young-ran took a taxi to the awards ceremony venue. Riding in the taxi with the head stylist, she called the writer and surprised everyone by revealing, “There’s no separate waiting room. So, we’re all together with other presenters.” When asked “What kind of awards ceremony is this?“, she introduced, “‘Trot Music Awards 2024’. Looking at the cue sheet, Jang Yoon-jung, Jin Sung, Seol Woon-do and Nam Jin will close the ceremony.”
Upon arriving at the awards ceremony venue, Jang Young-ran headed to the common waiting room inside. She asked the writer where she should sit, and the writer suggested a spot. Jang Young-ran’s awards ceremony partner was Oh Ji-yul, who played Park Yeon-jin’s daughter Ha Ye-sol in “The Glory”. After reading the script with Oh Ji-yul, she took photos at the photo zone on the first floor. She self-dissed, “Since there’s a little time left now… There’s no waiting room, and the waiting time is long… This schedule, who planned it?“
She caused laughter by saying, “I called and said, ‘PD, I’m going to an awards ceremony, come with me.’ I’m still far from being A-class. Why did PD come?” PD complained, “There’s no red carpet or anything.” Jang Young-ran retorted, “Let’s take a photo here. Since there’s no manager, this is really tough for me.”
