J. Y. Park confesses his sincere feelings like a “real older brother” towards Bang Si-hyuk

The Dec 6th broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star” will feature J. Y. Park, Kim Bum-soo, Kim Wan-sun and Park Mi-kyung as guests. 

Singer J. Y. Park, who recently released the new song “Changed Man”, visits “Radio Star” after 3 years. He gained attention for his appearance on tvN’s “You Quiz On The Block” alongside Bang Si-hyuk, where he humorously mentioned, “I couldn’t promote my new song properly on ‘You Quiz’, so I came to ‘Radio Star’ to promote it properly.”

J. Y. Park revealed a parallel theory between Kim Gura and Bang Si-hyuk, “They both can’t manage their expressions, and they have blood type O.” Kim Gura vehemently refuted J. Y. Park’s claim, “No way.” However, he ended up acting exactly as J. Y. Park analyzed, bringing laughter to the studio.

Regarding HYBE, led by Bang Si-hyuk, becoming the industry’s top, J. Y. Park expressed his sincere feelings, “It’d be more heart-wrenching if Si-hyuk’s company didn’t do well.” Surprisingly, he added, “(JYP) briefly became No.1, but I feel more comfortable being second. Being No.2 seems just right.“

J. Y. Park shared his ultimate goal for JYP, “A gradual upward trajectory is better than being No.1.” Besides, he revealed plans to build a new JYP center in Godeok-dong with a floor area of 10,000 pyeong, stating that it will be a space drawing the most creativity globally.

J. Y. Park also teased about collaborating with singer Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) to create a girl group, mentioning Rain’s two daughters and his own two daughters, even suggesting, “Let’s raise the four daughters well and create a girl group.” Kim Gook-jin added curiosity by asking if they are all in their trainee lives.
