HYBE’s girl group I’LL-IT Lose a Member? “6 people line-up curse”

I’LL-IT is a highly-anticipated K-pop girl group at the moment, as the group’s line-up was formed through the HYBE audition program “R U NEXT?”

It was previously revealed that the girl group has a 6-people lineup, and is expected to debut within the first half of 2024. They were also allegedly seen filming and MV and taking a photoshoot with Cho Gi-seok, who is the creative behind LE SSERAFIM’s “Unforgiven” album, exciting fans.

However, recent footage of I’LL-IT taking photos in Taiwan has raised concerns.

In particular, there were only 5 members spotted, and Yongseo – who is expected to be the “ace” of the group with immense popularity – was nowhere to be seen.

Additionally, fans noticed that there has not been any SNS update of Youngseo since December 4, even though she is normally an extremely active member when it comes to interaction with fans.

As of the moment, HYBE is still releasing content with 6 members, but fans can’t help but worry.

Many netizens have even started to say that HYBE is suffering from a “6 people line-up curse”, as LE SSERAFIM debuted with 6 members, only for Kim Garam to leave the group after a school violence controversy.

At the same time, some can’t help but compare I’LL-IT with BABYMONSTER – as the group’s expected ace, Ahyeon, also did not join the debut.
