“Heart Signal 3” Seo Min Jae apologized for drug use allegation, “I will reflect on my mistakes for the rest of my life

Former “Heart Signal 3” cast Seo Min Jae, who is accused of taking methamphetamine, released an apology.

On the morning of June 12th, Seo Min Jae made a post on her Instagram, saying “First of all, I sincerely apologize to everyone who has been hurt because of me”.

She continued, “Surprisingly, there were people who believed in me, supported me, and loved me as well as people who once received empathy and courage through me”, adding “All of those things have become a great source of strength and consolation to me.”

She added, “As a person with so many shortcomings, I felt blessed to be loved like this and to become a small source of support for someone. I have disappointed those people who I appreciate. I’m so sorry”.

Lastly, Seo Min Jae repeatedly apologized, “I will reflect on my mistakes for the rest of my life and do my best to take responsibility for the parts I should. I will try to live as a right person and a responsible member of society”.

After graduating from Inha University’s College of Engineering, Seo Min Jae gained keen attention when appearing on Channel A’s “Heart Signal 3” in 2020. She later became an influencer after quitting her job as a mechanic at Hyundai Motor Company and received a lot of love.

However, in August of last year, Seo Min Jae sparked controversy when posting messages on her personal SNS account, such as “I took methamphetamine with Nam Tae Hyun“, “I have the syringe he used in my room and company’s cabinet”, etc.

The next day, Seo Min Jae explained, “It was a quarrel between lovers. I took more than the right amount of psychiatric medicine due to stress, and that’s why I kind of lost my mind”. However, the police launched an investigation after netizens filed reports.

According to reports, the National Forensic Service recently notified the police that Seo Min Jae tested positive for methamphetamine.
