Actor Go Yoon-jung topped the list of actor brand reputation in September 2023, as a result of big data analysis

The Korean Business Research Institute indexed 181,966,435 brand big data of 100 actors appearing in dramas, movies, and OTT (over the top) productions from August 29, 2023 to September 29, 2023 by consumers’ brand participation, media, communication, and community. Compared to the actor brand big data of  221,605,884 in August, it decreased by 17.89%.

Actor brand reputation has expanded as the size of the OTT market expands and the areas of actors’ activities expand. It is a big data analysis that integrates movie and drama actors working in the web media as well as movies and broadcast media.

In September 2023, actor brand reputation ranked 30 actors in the order of Go Yoon-jung, Namkoong Min, Jo In-sung, Han Hyo-joo, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Byung-hun, Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jung, Han Ji-min, Kim Nam-gil, Son Seok-gu, Jeon Yeo-bin, Ryu Seung-ryong, Ma Dong-seok, Im Ji-yeon, Jo Bo-ah, Song Joong-ki, Gong Yoo, Ro-woon, Lee Da-in, Kim So-hyun, Ahn Jae-hong, Hwang Jung-eum, Lee Yu-bi, Baek Jin-hee, Kang Hoon, Kim Rae-won, Lee Kyu-han, Hwang Min-hyun, and Jungwoo Ha.

Go Yoon-jung’s brand, which ranked No. 1 in actor brand reputation, was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 11,269,447, with a participation index of 2,458,986, media index of 2,911,135, communication index of 3,794,769, community index of 2,104,556.

In second place, Namgoong Min’s brand was analyzed to have brand reputation index of 6,473,953, with the participation index of 1,606,032, media index of 1,621,062, communication index of 1,482,145, community index of 1,764,714.

In third place, Jo In-sung’s brand was analyzed as a brand reputation index of 5,540,337, with the participation index of 1,106,654, media index of 1,085,599, communication index of 1,990,762, community index of 1,357,322.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korean Business Research Institute, analyzed that Go Yoon-jung, who created explosive popularity through her acting in the OTT drama “Moving,” was ranked first. Namgoong Min, who drew consumer attention through the drama “My Dearest,” ranked second, and Jo In-sung became popular with consumers through the movies “Smugglers” and OTT drama “Moving” ranked third.
