Mnet’s “TMI News,” which aired on September 8, released graduation photos along with the behind-the-scenes story of MAMAMOO Solar’s debut.
While preparing to become a flight attendant, Solar accidentally sang on the street and received a casting offer, but she refused.
In one broadcast, Solar said, “I happened to sing on the street one day. There, a person in the music-related business suggested casting me. But at that time, I refused because I wanted to become a flight attendant rather than a singer.”
Solar recalled, “Since then, I’ve been preparing to become a flight attendant, but I kept thinking about being a singer. I kept thinking, “Should I try it because I do like singing?” and went to a lot of auditions. I think I did about 50 auditions.”
Solar made her debut with MAMAMOO‘s single “Mr. Ambiguous” in 2014 and was loved for a lot of hit songs.
