Actress Seol In Ah will work with star screenwriter Jin Soo Wan and make a small screen comeback with “Sparkling Watermelon”.
According to a Spotify News coverage on February 21st, Seol In Ah will take on the female lead role of “Sparkling Watermelon” (screenwriter Jin Soo Wan, director Son Jung Hyun).
“Sparkling Watermelon” tells the story of a boy who leads a double life as a model student and band member, who travels in time through a suspicious musical instrument store. Here, he meets his then 18-year-old father and builds a friendship with a mysterious girl.
The drama is a new work by Jin Soo Wan, a star screenwriter who wrote “Capital Scandal”, “Kill Me Heal Me”, and “The Moon Embracing the Sun”. As it is his first series 4 years after “Chicago Typewriter”, expectations are higher than ever. Meanwhile, Son Jung Hyun, who created “Should We Kiss First”, “All About My Romance”, “In the Mood for Love”, and “Mental Coach Jegal”, is in charge of directing.
“Sparkling Watermelon” will be Seol In Ah’s next work, following the KBS2 Monday-Tuesday drama “Oasis”, which is scheduled to be broadcast for the first time on March 6th.
