‘Doona!’ is a romantic drama based on a webtoon of the same name, depicting the story of a typical college student, Yang Se-jong (Won Jun), who meets the retired K-pop idol Lee Suzy (Doona) in a shared house, leaving her glamorous idol days behind.
It’s a drama that doesn’t seem to have any profound message, with its main narrative focusing on the fantasy of ‘what if a retired idol lives under the same roof with me?’
The story revolves around the pure and innocent male lead, played by Yang Se-jong, and his interactions with Doona. There are also Yang Se-jong’s first love and childhood friend involved in the storyline.
