Former YG Trainee Kim Eun Bi Reveals Life as Whiskey Bar Owner and Departure from the Agency

Kim Eun Bi, former contestant of ‘Superstar K Season 2’ and former trainee of YG Entertainment, reveals her current whereabouts as the owner of a whiskey bar.

Kim Eun Bi, who is now 31 years old, stated, “I love drinking so much that I became the owner of a whiskey bar. A bottle and a half of soju is my drinking capacity, but I fell in love with whiskey.“

She also mentioned that she started working at the bar as an employee but later decided to open her own business. “No one knows about it, but many people recognize me when they happen to come to my bar,” she said.

In addition, she talked about her life as a trainee at YG Entertainment after appearing on ‘Superstar K Season 2.’ 

Kim Eun Bi stated, “I received a lot of criticism for my dancing skills because I was not very good at it. I also lost a lot of weight during my trainee days, losing 8kg in a month.“

She also revealed the reason for her departure from YG Entertainment, saying, “My back was not in good condition, and I was mentally exhausted, so I couldn’t continue practicing.“

She added, “After leaving YG, I felt regretful and had a hard time letting go for about a year.”

Kim Eun Bi mentioned that she received many offers after leaving YG Entertainment but decided not to pursue them and to give up her dream of being an idol. “I wanted to pursue my own music,” she said. She also revealed that she met a company that shared the same vision and debuted with her debut song “ppp.”
