Five highly anticipated collaborations that could not pull through

Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee’s collaboration is causing the most regrets, among many other failed collaborations.

Song Hye Kyo – Han So Hee

At the top of the list is Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee’s collaboration on “The Price of Confession”. Marketing has been done months before to promote the two actresses’ long-awaited collaboration. The two actresses themselves also added hype by increasing their social media interaction.

Nonetheless, it was revealed, to fans’ surprise and regret, that the two actresses have pulled out of the drama project due to a conflict with the production team. Moreover, Han So Hee ‘s management company only learned of the news through the Korean media like any other.

Nonetheless, Han So Hee affirmed her relationship with Song Hye Kyo remained the same. On actress Song’s post following the news, Han So Hee commented, “She’s still mine”. In return, Song Hye Kyo responded with laugh symbols and a heart to hint that she felt the same.

Fans look forward to another of their collaboration.

Kim Soo Hyun – IU

At first, writer Park Ji Eun wanted to invite IU to play the female lead role in “Queen Of Tears” but the actress quickly turned down the offer. Later, Kim Soo Hyun was announced as the leading actor in the drama along with Kim Ji Won.

Previously, IU and Kim Soo Hyun appeared in two works together, namely “Dream High” and “The Producers”. The actor also appeared in one of IU’s MVs and cameoed in “Hotel Del Luna” starring the “LILAC” singer.

Kim Tae Ri – Gong Yoo

After leaving a strong impression with “Twenty – Five, Twenty – One”, Kim Tae Hee is making a highly – anticipated return with “The Devil” penned by Kim Eun Hee.

Initially, Gong Yoo was offered a leading role but had to turn down the offer due to schedule conflict.

Roh Yoon Seo – Park Ji Hoon

Roh Yoon Seo and Park Ji Hoon are capable rookie actors who have shown undeniable potential through previous filming projects. At first, the two actors were offered roles in the “Bastard” drama series adapted from a webtoon of the same name.

Jo Jung Suk – Han Ji Min

In 2017, after the success of “Oh My Ghost” and “Don’t Dare to Dream”,  Jo Jung Suk is a sought-after actor. initially, he and Han Ji Min were offered lead roles in the “Two Cops” drama series. Nonetheless, only Jo Jung Suk accepted the offer and proceeded to film.
