FIFTY FIFTY rejects mediation with Attrakt, “No intention of reaching an agreement”

The mediation for the contract dispute between girl group FIFTY FIFTY and their agency Attrakt eventually fell through.

On August 16th, an official from Attrakt said to OSEN, “The mediation between the company and FIFTY FIFTY scheduled for today (August 16th) has fallen through. We were informed that FIFTY FIFTY’s legal representative submitted a written opinion to the court stating they had no intention of having a mediation or reaching an agreement.”

The official added, “We have not received any contact from FIFTY FIFTY. When a mediation falls through, the court will decide whether to proceed with a compulsory mediation or a trial. However, no decision has been made as of now.”

On the 9th, FIFTY FIFTY and Attrakt already had a private mediation regarding their exclusive contract dispute. At that time, the court reportedly recommended the two sides reach a mutual agreement through mediation.

However, as the mediation failed, attention is now focused on whether the court will hold a forced mediation or continue to proceed with FIFTY FIFTY and Attrakt’s lawsuit.
