The funeral of ASTRO Moonbin was held earlier today (April 22nd), and fans are continuing to mourn.
On April 21st, Fantagio set up a space in front of their headquarters for fans to visit and pay tribute to the late Moonbin.
The company also put up a notice, saying “We have prepared a memorial altar on one side of the parking lot for fans who have come from far away to express their condolences, even though it is not an official place.”
They added, “Please use the memorial altar we prepared. The space will be cleaned up on the 22nd for the operation of nearby businesses. We ask for the generous understanding of AROHA (ASTRO’s fandom)”.
News of this simple memorial altar was also shared on SNS. Lots of fans visited the place bringing chrysanthemums, letters, and Moonbin’s favorite snacks. All of them wore black costumes to show their condolences and tearfully wished Moonbin’s soul would rest in peace.
On the other hand, the late idol singer Moonbin was found dead at his residence in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on April 19th. He passed away at the age of 25. His funeral and burial were held privately this morning.
