Kim Jong-kook “I’m very shy, but I opened up a lot while doing variety shows with Yoo Jae-suk”
On Jan 18th, on the YouTube channel “Gym Jong Kook”, footage was released of Kim Jong-kook engaging in genuine talk with “Hangout with Yoo” members who were having a get-together.
Kim Jong-kook, who met Yoo Jae-suk and Haha, had a genuine conversation. Kim Jong-kook, currently appearing on “Running Man” with Yoo Jae-suk and Haha, said, “Isn’t ‘Hangout with Yoo’ our sister show?” Yoo Jae-suk expressed his desire, “We wanted to collaborate with ‘Running Man’ at some point.” The PD of “Hangout with Yoo” expressed regret, “We were really open to it, but it didn’t work out well.” Yoo Jae-suk said, “Let’s do it once this year. Let’s make it well.”
Yoo Jae-suk recalled Kim Jong-kook’s early days as a novice in entertainment, “It’s funny that Kim Jong-kook is talking much on YouTube these days. In the old days, he kept his mouth shut and didn’t talk on ‘X-Man’.“
Kim Jong-kook confessed, “It started with ‘Star Survival Dongeodongrak’. Back then, when it was my turn to answer the question, Jae-suk would look at me and signal with his eyes, ‘Don’t do it.’ Then Jae-suk would pass me over.”
Yoo Jae-suk added humorously “Because he’s a gangster“, breaking the emotional atmosphere. Kim Jong-kook shared, “I’m very shy. It was through doing variety shows with Yoo Jae-suk that I opened up.”
