All Top Spots in March 2024 Idol Group Brand Reputation Are Girl Groups: No.1 Goes to TWICE

In March 2024, all the top spots in the idol group brand reputation rankings were dominated by female idol groups.

On March 14th, according to the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, TWICE was announced as the No.1 idol group in the brand reputation rankings, based on big data analysis from February 14th to March 14th, 2024. Girl groups LE SSERAFIM and (G)I-DLE took the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.

The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted a total of 71,636,610 pieces of big data for the analysis of idol group brand reputation. This figure represents a 6.72% decrease compared to the 76,794,082 pieces of big data analyzed for idol group brand reputation in February.

The idol group brand reputation analyzes the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index of consumers regarding idol group brands, through the integration of brand categories for both boy groups and girl groups.

The absence of boy groups within the Top 3 rankings is noteworthy.

TWICE, ranked 1st, recorded a participation index of 204,134, a media index of 900,551, a communication index of 1,541,797, and a community index of 1,994,264, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,640,746. This represents a 72.79% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,685,778 in February.

LE SSERAFIM, ranked 2nd, recorded a participation index of 657,482, a media index of 831,409, a communication index of 1,193,676, and a community index of 1,515,998, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,198,565. This represents a 110.55% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 1,994,091 in February.

(G)I-DLE, ranked 3rd, recorded a participation index of 190,022, a media index of 280,160, a communication index of 1,045,961, and a community index of 2,086,965, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,603,108. This represents a 36.47% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 5,671,073 in February.

SEVENTEEN, ranked 4th, recorded a participation index of 491,470, a media index of 757,232, a communication index of 1,063,095, and a community index of 1,252,133, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,563,930. This represents a 39.75% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 5,915,377 in February.

NewJeans, ranked 5th, recorded a participation index of 335,552, a media index of 789,073, a communication index of 1,138,775, and a community index of 1,215,263, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,478,662. This represents a 24.35% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,797,564 in February.

In March 2024, the Top 30 in idol group brand reputation were as follows: TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, TWS, BLACKPINK, RIIZE, BTS, IVE, ZEROBASEONE, The Boyz, BTOB, Oh My Girl, EXO, Stray Kids, NMIXX, NCT, ENHYPEN, H1-KEY, aespa, Red Velvet, Block B, BOYNEXTDOOR, StayC, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, ASTRO, WJSN, and SHINee, in order.
