EXO members show support for the new movie of D.O. (Do Kyungsoo).
The red carpet showcase and VIP premiere of the movie ‘The Moon’ (Director Kim Yong Hwa) took place on July 25th, at the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Times Square Atrium Plaza.
Set to be released on August 2nd, ‘The Moon’ depicts the struggle between Sun Woo (Do Kyungsoo), a space astronaut isolated on the moon due to an accident, and Jae Guk (Sul Kyung Gu), the former head of the space center, desperately trying to rescue him.
Directed by Kim Yong Hwa, a box-office powerhouse who has created numerous blockbusters, ‘The Moon’ has garnered high expectations for its limitless challenge. It is the first South Korean film to feature the subject of lunar exploration, and vividly portrays the vast and mysterious landscapes of the moon and space with hyper-realistic visuals.
Sul Kyung Gu, Do Kyungsoo, and Kim Hee Ae deliver a heartwarming story with strong humanistic values that bridge the 384,000 km distance between Earth and the Moon, emitting a universal synergy.
Baekhyun, on stage, expressed, “Kyungsoo is a truly talented actor. I came here to support Kyungsoo, who must be very nervous. Kyungsoo, stay strong!”
Chanyeol also remarked, “I’m here to cheer for Kyungsoo. I hope this movie achieves great success, reaching ten million, even twenty million viewers.” Xiumin expressed his anticipation, “I’m really looking forward to ‘The Moon.’ I’m excited to see what Kyungsoo will be like on the screen.” Sehun conveyed his affection with a short but heartfelt message, “Do Kyungsoo, fighting! Let’s reach ten million viewers!“
