Go Hyun-jung “There was a time when I decided to quit acting, I’m not getting any offers for roles”
Actress Go Hyun-jung talked about her passion for a new work
On March 11th, Go Hyun-jung’s agency IOK Company released a video titled “What does actress Go Hyun-jung do whenever she sees a camera?!” through their official channel.
In this Vogue Korea pictorial interview, Go Hyun-jung talked about her recent appearance on Jung Jae-hyung’s YouTube channel “Fairy Jae-hyung” and expressed her gratitude for the warm response.
She said, “This is the first time I’ve directly experienced such a reaction towards me. I was so thankful for so many people saying nice things that I cried.” The video has recorded over 5 million views.
Go Hyun-jung continued, “I feel a bit complicated. There was a time when I decided to quit acting, but I’m doing it again in the end. I thought a lot about whether I did it again because I really wanted it that much, or because what I could do to get myself a meal was acting.”
Furthermore, expressing her thirst for acting, Go Hyun-jung confessed, “I’m not getting any offers for roles. Everyone is misunderstanding. If a project comes along after this broadcast, I’ll do anything here. It doesn’t have to be a leading role. I’m willing to lower my appearance fee, I just really want to work with good actors. I haven’t been able to do the works I want to do yet. I’m so thirsty.”
