Members of boy group EXO gave LE SSERAFIM Eunchae valuable advice on “how to become a genius idol”.
On July 20th, the 16th episode of web program “Eunchae’s Star Diary”, which is titled “Idol Lv.999! How to become a genius idol taught by EXO” and features boy group EXO, was published.
Here, using their experience of being in the Kpop industry for over a decade, EXO gave advice to LE SSERAFIM Eunchae.
First, when Eunchae asked “what should we do to become such a great group in 10 years?”, Baekhyun highlighted that the most crucial thing is to have a professional mindset and work hard. He also added that an idol cannot lose interest in their field of work.
Second, Chanyeol mentioned the importance of being close to the members, claiming that teamwork is the secret behind a long-lasting group. “You tend to work and hang out with your members more often than other friends, so if you get along well, it will last long”, they said.
Third, Baekhyun gave the surprising advice of “don’t make a lot of other celebrity friends”, emphasizing that they are close to each other, don’t really have celebrity friends, and know each other too well.
Next, they jokingly told Eunchae to “don’t try to beat the members”, before moving on to the final advice on communicating with fans.
“I’m so thankful for fans”, EXO said, adding, “Rather than making the fans wait, if I take the time to say a word or two, the fans will be happy.”
Then, when Eunchae promised to write words to fans everyday starting from the same day, EXO strongly recommended it, saying that fans will like to hear from their idols, “even if it’s meaningless”.
