“Dawn, appear on a variety show with ‘ex-girlfriend’ HyunA? We’re rather thinking about casting Jo Hyun Ah”

Writer Kim Woo Kyung of “Alien Ho-Hwi-Hyo” explained the casting lineup.

On August 4th, an interview with writer Kim Woo Kyung and PD Park Min Hee of “Alien Ho-Hwi-Hyo” was held at LG U+’s office building located near Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. “Alien Ho-Hwi-Hyo” is a documentary about three men Lee Jin Ho, Hwimin and Dawn, who collaborate in a 100% fake startup format to create a unique and entertaining show, aiming to promote new talents.

The trio consists of Lee Jin Ho, known as “God of Drip” aspiring to profit from music, Hwimin from the popular group “GroovyRoom” and singer-songwriter Dawn. The documentary follows their journey of finding potential “mega-hit rookies” with eccentric recruitment and witty tactics.

Writer Kim Woo Kyung talked about casting singers Kwon Jung Yeol and Sunwoo Jung A, who were hard to see on variety shows. Writer Kim praised their potential for bringing a fresh and youthful charm to the show. Writer Kim also mentioned considering Urban Zakapa Jo Hyun Ah for a role.

Regarding the casting of HyunA, who remains friends with Dawn after their breakup, writer Kim humorously admitted not initially considering working with her and contemplated casting Jo Hyun Ah instead.

The documentary “Alien Ho-Hwi-Hyo” will be unveiled for the first time on U+ Mobile TV on August 16th.
