Actor Nam Goong-min, who won Daesang for “Hot Stove League”, will return with an SBS drama for the first time in two years.
Drama fans are looking forward to the comeback of Nam Goong-min, who has solidified his position as a trustworthy actor with huge support from viewers, and his transformation as a new male lead image of a lawyer who charges only 1000 won as his attorney’s fee.
SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama is suffering the worst slump at around 1% in terms of viewer rating. This is the lowest performance among ongoing dramas on terrestrial channels, and it is not even comparable in the match with MBC’s “Big Mouth”, which already surpassed 10%.
In this situation, SBS announced “One Dollar Lawyer” as the follow-up Friday-Saturday series. Only the fact that Nam Goong-min is revealed as the main character actor has already served as a powerful “hidden card”.
“One Dollar Lawyer” tells about Chun Ji-hoon (Nam Goong-min), a talented lawyer who charges only 1,000 won in attorney’s fees but provides the most reliable defense for his clients. Nam Goong-min will be playing his first lawyer character in 23 years since his debut, raising keen interest.
Above all, Nam Goong-min, who showed his “Korean Hulk” physique after bulking up 14kg for his character as a NIS agent in MBC’s “The Veil”, has returned to his slim body figure after releasing his muscles, stimulating fans’ curiosity about his new transformation with a new color. In particular, Nam Goong-min made the viewers exclaim as he appeared with brilliant line acting instead of intense spy action scenes in the teaser video released earlier.
