Singer Jo Kwon confessed the misunderstanding caused by his voice.
On April 29th, Jo Kwon posted two videos on his Instagram along with the caption saying “I’m really Jo Kwon”.
The video showed Jo Kwon talking on the phone with a customer center counselor while driving.
The counselor who answered the phone asked Jo Kwon, “If you are next to Jo Kwon, would you mind passing me over to him?” Jo Kwon replied, “I’m Jo Kwon.”
Then the embarrassed counselor asked, “Aren’t you a male customer?” Jo Kwon explained with a smile, “My voice is a little feminine.”
Another video showed Jo Kwon being confirmed to be himself by the counselor.
The counselor asked again, “What is your relationship with Jo Kwon?” Jo Kwon once again answered “I’m Jo Kwon”, drawing attention.
The counselor who spoke to Jo Kwon on the phone seems to have misunderstood him as a woman after hearing Jo Kwon‘s voice.
Jo Kwon posted the videos and said “It’s a common thing that happens when I talk to customer center counselors”, signaling that it is not the first time his gender has been misunderstood because of his voice.
Jo Kwon added, “I love my beautiful voice.”
In the meantime, he expressed his warm heart by saying, “The counselors who always kindly respond to customers! You worked hard. I support you.”
