EXO D.O x Shin Ye-eun confirmed lead roles in the Korean remake of Taiwanese film “Secret”
“Secret”, which is considered one of the best films of all time by many audiences, will be remade in Korean.
ON November 23rd, DongA Dotcom reported that Shin Ye-eun was cast for the male lead role in the movie “Secret”. Since Do Kyung-soo (EXO D.O) had been selected to play the male lead earlier, it is expected that Shin Ye-eun and Do Kyung-soo will be able to show a great team-up performance in this Korean version of “Secret”.
Apart from Shin Ye-eun, Won Jin-ah reportedly appears in “Secret”. Director Seo Yoo-min of “Recalled” will grab the megaphone for this movie.
Meanwhile, the Taiwanese movie “Secret” is a fantasy romance film that begins when a former piano genius meets a girl playing a mysterious melody in an old practice room. At the time of its release, this movie was also a hot topic in Korea. Thanks to the success of “Secret”, the two main character actors – Jay Chou and Gwei Lun-mei were able to raise their popularity in Korea.
