Court Rejected Search Warrant For G-Dragon’s Communication Details Due To “Lack of Clarification”

The search warrant for G-Dragon’s communication details has been rejected

On October 31st, it was reported that the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s drug investigation team applied for a search warrant for G-Dragon’s communication details on the 30th, but the court rejected it. The reason is known to be “lack of clarification of criminal acts.”

The police plan to reinforce the investigation and re-apply for a search warrant, saying they are planning to find out the people involved due to G-Dragon’s communication details, but the investigation could be delayed due to the rejection of the warrant.

G-Dragon, who was booked without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act on the 25th, said through his legal representative law firm, “I have not taken drugs. I have nothing to do with the violation of the Narcotics Control Act,” expressing his position that he will fully deny the charges and actively cooperate with the investigation.

However, the police were confident in proving the charges, claiming that there is specific evidence.

On October 31st, G-Dragon’s advisory lawyer revealed, “Kwon Ji-yong decided to voluntarily come to the drug crime investigation team of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on November 6 to conduct a quick and fair investigation.”

Accordingly, G-Dragon will take a hair and urine test on the same day.
