Actress Choi Ji-woo expressed her special affection for Kim Young-chul’s radio program

Choi Ji-woo guested on SBS PowerFM’s “Kim Young-chul’s PowerFM” broadcast on October 7th.

That day, Kim Young-chul asked, “When was the last time you appeared on a radio show?”, Choi Ji-woo responded, “I tried to remember but can’t think of any. That must have been so long ago”, adding “I don’t think I have come to SBS ever since ‘Stairway to Heaven’”.

The actress continued, “I’ve been keeping the habit of getting up early in the morning for a while. I woke up at 4:30 today”, adding “I came here too early, so I had to stay in the car for 10 minutes”, drawing laughter. Kim Young-chul wondered, “You came earlier than me?”.

Regarding her experience of listening to Kim Young-chul’s radio program, Choi Ji-woo said, “I haven’t been able to listen to it these days because I’m raising a baby. But when I was preparing to give birth, I spent much time at the hospital. It took more than an hour every time”.

She added, “The time I spent going back and forth to the hospital coincidently overlapped the time of this radio show. At some point, it became part of my routine and I continued listening to it for over a year. It was very comforting, and I also did some quizzes. If I were not driving, I would do the quiz and get coffee”

Meanwhile, Choi Ji-woo suddenly announced her marriage to the CEO of an IT company, who is 9 years younger than her, in 2018, and the two welcomed a pretty daughter in 2020, after two years of marriage.

In particular, Choi Ji-woo shared her current situation with fans through a handwritten letter before giving birth to her baby and referred to herself as an “icon of late pregnancy”. She confessed, “Having a child at such a late age and preparing for it amid the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, I respect South Korean mothers even more. Even for mothers-to-be who are struggling with preparations for childbirth, I hope I, an ‘icon of late pregnancy’, can inspire you all to stay strong.”
