BLACKPINK’s Jisoo boasts flawless visuals in the first still cuts for “Snowdrop”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Snowdrop” has dropped the first still cuts of Jung Hae In and Jisoo’s characters.

Prior to Snowdrop’s first broadcast on December 18, JTBC has released the first still cuts of main leads played by Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. This also seems to be the first encounter of Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In) and Eun Young Ro (Jisoo).

Contrary to the sweet and cheerful moments revealed in the previous teasers, in the latest stills, Young Ro looks somewhat surprised and panicked. She is hugged by Su Ho, even though they are seeing each other for the first time. This scene probably presents a familiar trope in Korean dramas, as he hugs her to avoid the pursuit of an enemy.

The context of the main couple’s first encounter is yet to be unveiled, but these still cuts are enough to make the audience excited for Snowdrop’s official broadcast to find out more. Fans are also looking forward to the sweet chemistry between Jung Hae In and Jisoo.

Some comments from netizens:

  • Jisoo is so pretty. Please support Snowdrop everyone.
  • Kim Jisoo is a fairy, her face is unreal. Her side profile is flawless.
  • Jung Hae In’s gaze is intense
  • I’m not a fan of Jisoo but she looks like a Disney princess in these stills
  • It’s only a hug but I already feel heartbroken. I don’t know how I would react to Jisoo’s kiss scene

Set in Seoul in 1987, Snowdrop centers on Young Ro (Jisoo) – a student at a women’s university who happens to save Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In) – a student of a prestigious university when he suddenly rushes into her dorm while being severely injured. Young Ro hides Su Ho and takes care of his wounds even in the face of danger under close surveillance.
