BLACKPINK Jisoo achieves a total of 6 trophies, following her win on Inkigayo.
On April 16th, BLACKPINK Jisoo appeared on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” and received a win from the music show with the “FLOWER” performance.
This is BLACKPINK Jisoo’s 6th music show win after making her solo debut on March 31st. Previously, Jisoo was absent on other music shows such as Mnet’s “M! Countdown”, KBS2’s “Music Bank”, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” and MBC M’s “Show Champion” for two weeks in a row. Nonetheless, the idol managed to get her trophy through performance replays.
Jisoo’s first solo album “[ME]” contains dual meanings. In its Chinese character, it means beauty. However, the title also refers to “Me”, or Jisoo herself, and her personal color through the songs. With unique bass sound and minimal arrangement, sophisticated and poetic lyrics, earworm melodies, as well as Jisoo’s unique vocals, these elements blend to produce a dreamy atmosphere that listeners cannot forget.
Most recently, Jisoo performed the title track “FLOWER” on the stage of “Inkigayo”. The singer flaunted her flawless visual in a white dress. The performance was conveyed through graceful gestures and affectionate gaze. The soloist teamed up with her backup dancers to deliver a visually stunning performance for the audience.
