G-Dragon’s Side Refutes Drug Charges Again And Announces Stricter Responses To False Rumors
Singer G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong) once again emphasized his firm denial of drug use
On October 30th, G-Dragon’s solicitor Kim Soo-hyun, a lawyer at K1 Chamber law firm, said, “As we have already clarified, Kwon Ji-yong has never taken drugs”.
G-Dragon’s side continued, “In this regard, Kwon Ji-yong has appointed a lawyer this morning and submitted a letter revealing his intention to voluntarily be present at the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency”.
They emphasized, “Through the letter of voluntary attendance and lawyer’s opinion, Kwon Ji-yong strongly expressed his intention to voluntarily attend the police agency and actively cooperate with the police investigation”.
G-Dragon’s lawyer added, “In order to resolve injustice as soon as possible by quickly identifying the truth through rapid investigation, Kwon Ji-yong also informed the police that he would voluntarily submit all necessary data for the investigation and actively do the hair and urine tests. He is currently coordinating his schedule for the voluntary attendance.”
