Ahn Bo-hyun Reveals Grandmother’s Reaction To His Love Scene With Kim Go-eun, “She Thought It Was Real”

SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” broadcast on February 4th featured the appearance of actor Ahn Bo-hyun as a special MC.

Special MC Ahn Bo-hyun said, “My driving force in acting is my grandmother”, revealing that his grandmother watched all of his works.

The actor shared, “She watched me doing a love scene for the first time through ‘Yumi’s Cells’. She even commented, ‘That friend (Kim Go-eun) is so good. Seems like she thought it was real. She even asked me questions like ‘Does she (Kim Go-eun) like sashimi?’ or ‘Will you bring her to Busan?’”.

Ahn Bo-hyun also explained that exposure scenes were essential in his works regardless of the genre. He said, “Exposure scenes keep appearing in each drama, from melodrama to action and legal ones. There weren’t any exposure scenes in the first place but they suddenly wanted to add it and said they would use 10 seconds. So I worked out for 3 weeks just for that 10 seconds”.

In addition, the actor revealed that he performed action scenes by himself without a stuntman because he has boxing experience. In fact, Ahn Bo-hyun used to be an amateur boxer and he even won gold medals at amateur competitions.
