aespa’s NingNing reveals “Welcome to My World” was originally Naevis’ solo debut song: “Naevis, I’m sorry”

NingNing hilariously apologized to Naevis for using her debut song as aespa’s song.

Through the messaging app Bubble, aespa’s NingNing recently shared a funny story about the group’s latest release “Welcome to My World.” 

NingNing revealed that the song was actually not supposed to be an aespa song but originally intended to be the solo debut of Naevis, the AI character from aespa’s worldview who connects the members’ avatars to the real world.

NingNing explained that aespa loved the song so much when they heard it that they decided to use it as their own. NingNing then made fans laugh by apologizing to Naevis for taking her debut song: “Naevis, I’m sorry… Please do a solo next time.”

Meanwhile, aespa is making a comeback with the new mini album “My World” on May 8th at 6 pm KST. aespa promises to bring lively and carefree energy with their new title track “Spicy.”
