Kim Dong Hee sends an apology letter to the classmate who is his bully-victim in elementary school

Actor Kim Dong Hee admitted to school violence and apologized. It has been about a year since elementary school classmate A revealed that he/she had been bullied by Kim Dong-hee. 

On January 13th, the company Npio Entertainment published Kim Dong Hee‘s apology letter:

“When I was in 5th grade, I got into a fight with my classmate and was disciplined by the teacher.

After the incident, my friend and I still went to the classroom and played together like two normal friends. For example, we still went to each other’s houses to eat. So I thought that we were good and that friend’s family had forgiven me too.

I don’t know if this is just my opinion or not. But it’s hard to imagine how much trauma that friend must have endured.

I did not apologize immediately after the accusations broke out because I was afraid that if I apologized, even the things I didn’t do would be taken as the truth. So at that time, I didn’t have the courage to say sorry.

I think that the incident in the past happened because I myself was not mature enough and I was hasty to assess the actions of that friend. I sincerely apologize for the hurt I have caused that friend, and I hope to make up for them in the future. I also deeply reflect and want to apologize to those who were hurt by my thoughtless words and actions when I was young.”
