While the pre-release single “Super Shy” is still viral, New Jeans announced the release schedule of “Cool With You” music video.
On July 17th, ADOR said, “The music video of ‘Cool With You’ by NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) was made into versions A and B”, adding “Two surprising and unexpected global stars will appear”.
“Cool With You” is one of the triple titles of NewJeans’s second mini album “Get Up”. The agency explained that it is based on the UK garage rhythm that can highlight the members’ attractive vocals.
The second mini-album of NewJeans, titled “Get Up,” containing a total of six songs, will be released on July 21st. The title tracks are “Super Shy,” “ETA,” and “Cool with You.” Among them, “Super Shy” was pre-released on July 7th, and “ETA” was unveiled during NewJeans’ recent fan meeting.
“Cool with You” is revealed to embody NewJeans’ unique MV style, incorporating symbolic messages and metaphors. As NewJeans has consistently received praise for their innovative promotional strategies and unique music since their debut, they are expected to attract attention with all three title tracks in the upcoming album.
NewJeans has achieved high rankings with “Super Shy,” reaching No.1 on major domestic music charts such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo. They also reached 9th place on Spotify’s US “Daily Top Songs” and 59th place on the UK Official Singles Chart “Top 100,” marking their personal best rankings.
