2PM’s Lee Junho and actress Lee Se-young received Best Couple Award at MBC Drama Awards 2021
Actors Lee Junho and Lee Se-young won the Best Couple Award.
On the afternoon of December 30th, the 2021 MBC Drama Awards was held at the MBC office building in Sangam-dong, Seoul without audiences to prevent the spread of the virus.
Lee Junho and Lee Se-young, who were loved for their romance of the century in the drama “The Red Sleeve,” were named for the Best Couple Award.
Lee Se-young said, “I really wanted to receive this award. I’m happy and grateful that it was given to me alone, not as a joint award. I send my gratitude to everyone here, and I am most grateful to the viewers who cheered for us and watched us. We were able to receive this award because of the support and love of our fans,” she added.
Lee Jun-ho said, “Thank you. I didn’t expect to receive the Best Couple Award. I have a past history with this award. I once received the Best Couple Award with Nam Gung-min. Now, I am happy to receive it with Se-young. I feel strange and happy just to be in one place with her,” he said adding, “I think one of the reasons we can win the Best Couple Award is because of Se-young. We were able to receive this award thanks to her helping being an atmosphere maker on the set and helping me enjoy filming. Please love our drama until the end.“
Veteran MC Kim Sung-joo was the sole host of the MBC Drama Awards this year, following last year. The celebratory performance was a special stage by the dance team La Chica, who drew attention in Mnet’s program “Street Woman Fighter.”
