Accordingly, V’s “Layover” is expected to top the US Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200”. The strongest competitor that hinders V from occupying the top spot of “Billboard 200” is pop star Olivia Rodrigo, who is known as an icon of America’s Generation Z. Rodrigo released her second full-length album “GUTS” on the same day.

V and Rodrigo made headlines due to their connection at the 64th Grammy Awards. While V was singing “Butter” at the awards ceremony with BTS members, he approached Rodrigo in the audience seat and whispered. BBC also selected this scene as one of the “Grammy Awards 2022: Five stand-out moments”.
