“19/20” Kim Ji Eun, “First time being a dating reality show MC, I was amazed by Gen Z’s new slang”

Kim Ji Eun expressed her thoughts about appearing on Netflix’s new reality show “19/20”.

On the morning of July 6th, the press conference for Netflix’s original program “19/20” was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall. Kyuhyun, Kim Ji Eun, AKMU Lee Soo Hyun, Jung Se Woon, PD Kim Jae Won, PD Kim Jung Hyun, and PD Park Soo Ji attended the event and talked about their work.

Regarding the changes that one may experience after becoming an adult, Kim Ji Eun explained, “Within two weeks, they transform 19 to 20 and move into the 20 house to live together. You can observe the subtle emotion felt when being with opposite-sex and same-sex individuals for 24 hours. You can also see their honest sides that freely show.”

Revealing the reason she accepted the offer to become the show’s MC, Kim Ji Eun said, “I really wanted to come out on a reality show as a panelist, so when they offered me the opportunity, I was very happy. The best part of being a panelist/MC is that I was able to watch the show before anyone else”.

Kim Ji Eun confessed that she was amazed by the language of Generation Z people. She said, “While watching the footage, we heard the word ‘jjangchin (best friend)’ and had to discuss whether it was a new slang or not”.

Recording the special moments of growth for still inexperienced and youthful Generation Z during the last week of being nineteen and the first week of being twenty, the youth reality entertainment show ’19/20′ will be released on Netflix on July 11th.
