“You Quiz” Yoo Jae Suk and Jeon Do Yeon talk about their friendship, “You stole my tteokbokki”
On the recent episode of tvN’s “You Quiz On The Block” aired on March 29th, Yoo Jae Suk talked about his college days with actress Jeon Do Yeon.
Jeon Do Yeon appeared as a guest on “You Quiz On The Block” and met with her college classmate Yoo Jae Suk. When Yoo Jae Suk saw Jeon Do Yeon, he greeted her warmly by saying “Hey, friend,” but Jeon Do Yeon drew a line by replying, “Nice to meet you.”
Her response made everyone laugh. Yoo Jae Suk commented, “You were always sharp-tongued, whether it was then or now.” Jeon Do Yeon replied, “Do you know me well?” and then said, “We’re not that close now.”
Yoo Jae Suk said, “It’s my first time doing a broadcast with you. We met at an award ceremony two years ago. It feels like it’s been 10 years.” Jeon Do Yeon asked, “Didn’t I last see you at the car wash? Then I said hello first.” Yoo Jae Suk said, “I even showed you my car trunk. We were supposed to meet again with Tae Kyun, but we never did.”
Yoo Jae Suk said, “At that time, I think we stopped talking.” Jeon Do Yeon replied, “At that time, we were friends, but now it feels distant.” Jo Se Ho suggested they sort out the way they call each other, and he asked if he could call Jeon Do Yeon “noona.”
Yoo Jae Suk asked Jeon Do Yeon why she didn’t do many variety shows, and she answered, “I don’t adapt well. I hosted a show in my early debut days, but I didn’t do well. I wasn’t doing well because I was good.” Jeon Do Yeon added that her last appearance on a variety show was ten years ago.
Jeon Do Yeon said, “I was nervous and worried. People think I’m close to Yoo Jae Suk. But in reality, we don’t have much to talk about, and it’s worrisome when people have high expectations.”
Yoo Jae Suk said that he had read articles about Jeon Do Yeon, and she asked him, “Were we really close?” Yoo Jae Suk then recounted how they were in different departments, but he saw Jeon Do Yeon once during the break, and she stole his tteokbokki (spicy rice cake). In response, Jeon Do Yeon said, “I don’t remember,” so Yoo Jae Suk joked, “The person who stole it doesn’t remember,” and made everyone laugh.
