Netflix’s upcoming variety show “Jae Suk’s B&B Rules!” has unveiled several key viewing points ahead of its premiere, raising anticipation among fans.
The new Netflix original program follows beginner campsite owner Yoo Jae Suk alongside unpredictable staff members Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun as they eat, play, joke around, and help guests escape their everyday routines through a large-scale camp experience.
Following Netflix’s previous guesthouse variety show “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” the streaming platform is now introducing another unique lodging-themed entertainment series that is already attracting attention.
The production team explained that Yoo Jae Suk was chosen as the campsite owner because of his leadership skills and natural ability to make people feel comfortable. However, unlike his usual polished and perfectly controlled television persona, the show will highlight a more human and chaotic side of the legendary MC as he gradually becomes exhausted and increasingly clumsy during the intense two-night, three-day filming schedule.
The chemistry between the cast members is also expected to be one of the show’s biggest attractions. While Yoo Jae Suk struggles as a frantic “rookie boss,” Lee Kwang Soo takes on the role of the strict yet hilarious “discipline leader.” Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok is set to surprise viewers with his unexpectedly awkward charm, and experienced guesthouse worker Ji Ye Eun will act as the dependable youngest staff member.
The production promises plenty of entertaining moments as the cast members, who initially hoped for a healing getaway, instead find themselves overwhelmed by physically demanding tasks and nonstop responsibilities.
Adding to the excitement, celebrity couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon will reportedly make surprise appearances as special part-time staff members. Their unexpected participation is expected to bring additional stability and professionalism to the chaotic camp operation.
Another major highlight of the program is its massive filming location. Set on a 30,000-pyeong campsite equipped with facilities including a gymnasium, outdoor stage, and fitness center, the show will feature a variety of activities for guests.
Programs include wake-up missions, morning yoga, quiz games, outdoor activities, campfires, and talent shows, all designed to help guests briefly escape the stress of everyday life.
The production staff hinted that managing such a huge campsite dramatically increased the workload for the cast members, adding that this exhausting environment ultimately became another key source of comedy for the series.
Netflix’s large-scale camp variety show “Jae Suk’s B&B Rules!” will release Episodes 1 through 5 on May 26, followed by Episodes 6 through 10 on June 2 exclusively through Netflix.
