Actress Ji Ye Eun showed affection for her fellow cast members during the press conference for Netflix’s upcoming variety show Yoo Jae Suk Camp.

The production presentation was held on May 19 at JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Seoul. Producers Jung Hyo Min, Lee So Min, and Hwang Yoon Seo attended alongside cast members Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun.

Speaking about working with the cast, Ji Ye Eun admitted she had only previously met Yoo Jae Suk before filming.

“It was my first time meeting the other two, so I wondered whether we could really become close during the two nights and three days together,” she shared. “But now, just looking at their faces makes me laugh.”

She especially surprised reporters by calling Lee Kwang Soo her “life role model.”

In response, Lee Kwang Soo jokingly said, “That’s a little burdensome. I’ve never heard it expressed to this level before. I’ll try to show good sides of myself to viewers and to Ye Eun going forward.”

Ji Ye Eun also spoke warmly about Yoo Jae Suk, revealing that filming changed the way she viewed the legendary entertainer.

“I didn’t realize he was this warm,” she said. “I got to know the human side of Yoo Jae Suk. He became my ideal type.”

She continued, “I only realized just how caring and affectionate he is after filming ‘Yoo Jae Suk Camp.’”

Host Park Kyung Lim summarized the actress’s comments by joking, “So Lee Kwang Soo is your role model, and Yoo Jae Suk is your ideal type?”

Ji Ye Eun then added that Byeon Woo Seok was simply “healing to look at,” drawing laughter from the audience.

Yoo Jae Suk quickly teased her by replying, “But your boyfriend is Vata.” The playful comment referenced dancer Vata, with whom Ji Ye Eun previously confirmed her public relationship.

Yoo Jae Suk Camp follows rookie campsite owner Yoo Jae Suk and unpredictable staff members Lee Kwang Soo, Byeon Woo Seok, and Ji Ye Eun as they spend time with guests through chaotic games, conversations, and outdoor activities.

The new Netflix variety show is already drawing attention as the latest “guesthouse-style” reality program from producer Jung Hyo Min’s team following the success of Kian’s Bizarre B&B.

The show is scheduled to premiere on May 26.
