Once again, Yoo Jae Suk is earning praise for his sincerity and loyalty. A touching story involving the nation’s beloved MC and influencer Choi Jun Hee, the daughter of late actress Choi Jin Sil, has recently warmed the hearts of fans online.
On May 18, Choi Jun Hee revealed through her Instagram Story that Yoo Jae Suk had quietly sent her a wedding gift without making it publicly known.
Sharing a photo of the wedding contribution list, she wrote, “King God General. He didn’t even mention it personally, and I only found out later.”

The list showed Yoo Jae Suk’s name alongside entertainer Jo Se Ho, who reportedly hosted the wedding ceremony.
Choi Jun Hee also expressed her gratitude by posting a humorous screenshot related to Park Myung Soo, another longtime colleague of Yoo Jae Suk from Infinite Challenge.
Choi Jun Hee married her non-celebrity boyfriend on May 16 at a hotel in Seoul’s Gangnam district.
The story has drawn even greater attention because of Yoo Jae Suk’s long-standing connection with Choi Jin Sil, who played an important role in his early broadcasting career.
Back in 2024, Yoo Jae Suk shared the story himself while appearing on the YouTube variety show Pinggyego. He recalled that when he transferred to MBC and was searching for opportunities as an MC, a producer close to Choi Jin Sil asked her if she knew any promising entertainers.

According to Yoo Jae Suk, Choi Jin Sil recommended him despite never having worked with him personally.
“She told the producer, ‘Try using Yoo Jae Suk,’ even though she didn’t personally know me,” he said at the time.
Yoo Jae Suk explained that appearing on the program eventually opened the door to major shows such as Kung Kung Tta, X-Man, and later Infinite Challenge, helping shape the legendary career he has today.
Because of that history, many fans viewed Yoo Jae Suk’s quiet gesture toward Choi Jun Hee as a meaningful act of gratitude toward someone he once described as a lifelong benefactor.
Online reactions quickly poured in, with many netizens praising Yoo Jae Suk for continuing to honor his relationship with the late actress years after her passing. Fans also commented that the gesture perfectly reflected the warm personality that earned him the nickname “Yoo-neunim,” combining his name with the Korean word for “god.”
