On March 14, an episode of Hangout with Yoo aired on MBC with the theme “A Day Decided by AI,” created to help make the day of single entertainer Kim Kwang-kyu a little less lonely.
Throughout the episode, the cast spent the day following instructions generated by artificial intelligence. After paying for drinks at a café as directed by the AI, the group decided to continue the day by following Kim Kwang-kyu’s usual daily routine together.
Since Kim planned to visit a department store to browse items, the group came up with the idea of wearing matching outfits for the outing.
They asked the AI to decide who would be responsible for choosing the coordinated outfits, and it selected Yoo Jae Suk, which immediately drew playful complaints from the other members.
Despite objections from former model Joo Woo Jae and self-proclaimed fashion enthusiast Haha, Yoo Jae Suk confidently stuck to his own style and picked the group’s matching clothing.
Later, while walking through a park, the cast noticed a couple dressed in coordinated outfits, which caught everyone’s attention.
Joo Woo Jae jokingly commented, “It makes sense for them because they’re a couple. But we’re just wearing uniforms.”
Yoo Jae Suk then shared a personal story about his marriage to Na Kyung Eun. He revealed, “When we were newly married, Kyung Eun wanted us to wear couple outfits together, but I refused because I wasn’t really a fan of that style.”
He added with a hint of regret, “These days I actually want to try matching outfits with Kyung Eun, but now she doesn’t want to. I suggest it sometimes, but she keeps turning me down.”
Reflecting on the moment, Yoo Jae Suk admitted, “I regret it a little. I should have agreed back then when she suggested it during our newlywed days. I don’t know why I refused at the time.”
Heo Kyung-hwan then turned to Joo Woo Jae and asked whether he would be willing to wear couple outfits if he were in a relationship. Joo Woo Jae replied without hesitation that he would gladly try it.
Hearing this, Yoo Jae Suk offered advice from experience, saying, “You should do it when you have the chance. Everything has its right timing.”
