Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk recalled memories with his military colleague Lee Jung-jae.
On Jan 6th, tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” released a trailer for episode 137 featuring Lee Jung-jae. As soon as Yoo Jae-suk saw Lee Jung-jae, who appeared wearing intense leather pants, he smiled brightly, exclaimed “World star” then hugged him. Lee Jung-jae also warmly welcomed his military colleague Yoo Jae-suk, saying, “My comrade.”
After that, Yoo Jae-suk began to tell stories about his time in the military with Lee Jung-jae. Yoo Jae-suk imitated what Lee Jung-jae’s mother said at the time, “Jung-jae can’t wake up now.” Then, he made everyone burst into laughter by saying, “I really carried Lee Jung-jae to work.”
This anecdote was told in detail when Lee Jung-jae appeared on SBS’ “Healing Camp” in the past. Lee Jung-jae and Yoo Jae-suk belonged to the 52nd Division in Gwangmyeong.
Lee Jung-jae lived in Nonhyeon and Yoo Jae-suk lived in Apgujeong. Lee Jung-jae, who became famous because of his role in SBS’ “The Hour Glass”, was recognized by many people, making it difficult to use public transportation.
So the two decided to take turns “carpooling”. However, due to the success of “The Hour Glass”, Lee Jung-jae had a lot of dinner outings every night.
Lee Jung-jae confessed, “That’s why the times when I had to go pick Yoo Jae-suk up, I couldn’t.” Yoo Jae-suk called Lee Jung-jae’s house, and Lee Jung-jae’s mother replied, “Jae-suk, he’s sleeping. Come and take him with you.” Lee Jung-jae expressed his gratitude, “Yoo Jae-suk went to my home to pick me up. He was really nice. He took care of me a lot.”
