‘Yoo Jae Suk’s Favorite Idol’ Teen Top Leader Sparks Controversy for Using Profanity towards Fan

The leader of Teen Top, C.A.P, sparked a dispute with a fan by using profanity, causing controversy.

During a live broadcast on YouTube on May 8th, Teen Top’s C.A.P got into an argument with a fan.

When the fan asked him to refrain from swearing and smoking, C.A.P responded by saying, “I don’t know what’s so annoying about that. First of all, people who never watched my broadcasts suddenly come and say things like ‘this shouldn’t be done’ just because we, Teen Top, are making a comeback. Honestly, I don’t like it when they do that XX (profanity).

C.A.P continued, “I wonder why these people who never paid attention to me suddenly come and do that XX to me. I guess it’s because I belong to a team, and they think the team might be damaged (by my actions).”

C.A.P also mentioned that he is considering skipping Teen Top’s next album. He said, “It might sound like a bombshell to you guys, but I’m thinking of not making a comeback. My contract ends in July.”

Teen Top debuted in 2010 and gained a lot of love thanks to songs such as “Crazy,” “Miss Right,” “Rocking.” They resumed activities after a three-year hiatus with a special album released in 2020 and appeared on MBC’s show “Hangout with Yoo” after being invited by Yoo Jae Suk in March.

Although Teen Top has announced a comeback in July, C.A.P’s slip of the tongue may have caused some obstacles.
