Yoo Jae-suk Reveals Ji Seok-jin’s Whereabouts, “He Took A Break But Complained Of Sore Throat In A Week”

The January 10th broadcast of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” featured the guest appearance of announcer Kim Dae-ho, who won Best New Entertainer at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards.

Kim Dae-ho, who became an announcer after passing MBC’s recruitment in 2011 with a competition rate of 5509:1, recalled the story of when he resigned only three years after joining the company because he was tired of the unprepared life as a broadcaster.

Taking a three-month break at the advice of his seniors and colleagues at that time, Kim Dae-ho decided to travel to Argentina. He said, “I thought it was very far”, drawing laughter.

Yoo Jae-suk agreed that it is harder to take a proper rest, saying “Seok-jin is taking a rest right now and he planned to do something he wanted during the break. However, he has been resting for 3 weeks. I remembered his voice tone changed after only a week”, making everyone burst into laughter.

He continued, “He said his body has gotten better but his throat was a little sore. I laughed so much for a long time”. Hearing that, Kim Dae-ho commented, “You don’t need to rest too long. Your body will recover quickly”.
