Yoo Jae-suk purchased land worth 11.6 billion won in Gangnam-gu, Seoul

According to the real estate industry on Dec 11th, Yoo Jae-suk purchased land in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 11.6 billion won.

He is reported to have paid the entire amount in cash. The building has a land area of 90.3 pyeong and is designated as Type 1 Residential Zone, with a per-pyeong price of 128.39 million won. Previously, a 5-story neighborhood facility was located on the property, but it has recently been reported to be a vacant lot (land without buildings).

The land purchased by Yoo Jae-suk is located near the construction building that his agency Antenna Entertainment uses as its office. Yoo Jae-suk is known to reside in Hyundai Apartment in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu on a lease basis, keeping a distance from real estate investments. When appearing on a program, broadcaster Ji Seok-jin, who is known as a close friend of Yoo Jae-suk, mentioned, “Yoo Jae-suk isn’t greedy. He still lives in an apartment on a lease.”

Yoo Jae-suk debuted in 1991 through the KBS Comedian Festival (for college students). He is considered the nation’s representative MC and won a total of 19 Grand Prizes, making him the recipient of the most Grand Prizes in history.

He enjoys widespread love from the public as a national MC. A significant part of his image is characterized by a “kind image”, representing his good character. Despite holding the top position in the entertainment industry for a long time, he has managed his private life rigorously with no significant controversies, maintaining a clean public image.
