DAY6 Young K’s talents are drawing attention among Internet users

In the latest episode of MBC’s “Hangout With Yoo,” which aired on November 11th, Yoo Jae-seok, playing the President of his own company JS Entertainment, was looking for the main vocalist of his project group One Top.

The vocalist candidate who came for the interview was Young K of the band DAY6. Yoo Jae-seok couldn’t take his eyes off Young K’s appearance, saying, “I don’t know what this is like at first sight, but I’m completely attracted to you.”

Also, Yoo Jae-seok, immediately exclaimed, “Wow” as he saw the resume the singer brought for the interview. According to the resume, he had 970 points in the TOEIC test, perfect TOEIC speaking scores, 116 points in TOEFL (English tests), intermediate HSKK (Chinese speaking proficiency certificate), and passed the 4th grade of Chinese character test. In addition, it was written that he can speak a total of five languages, including English and Chinese, as well as Japanese and French.

When asked why he was good at English, Young K said, “I’ve lived in Canada for about four to five years,” revealing that he studied abroad.

In addition, Young K was revealed to major in business administration and has graduated from university. On top of that, he participated in writing and composing most of DAY6’s songs and other artists’ songs as well.

Yoo Jae-seok was surprised again, saying, “You’re so good at studying,” and Young K said, “I learned a lot of languages while I was a JYP trainee. I was a trainee for about six years. So I can also do basic choreography,” he said, appealing his dance skills.

On top of that, Young K also showed off his singing skills with various songs such as “Sunday Morning,” “Get A Guitar,” and “Never Ending Story.” In the end, Yoo Jae-seok picked Young K as the main vocalist of his project group.
