YG Entertainment is introducing a special camp for teenagers who dream of becoming the next generation of K-pop artists.

The ‘2023 YG CAMP’ will be held on August 12th and 13th, offering a two-day experience of YG’s systematic training system.

‘YG CAMP’ is a program that provides free special lectures by YG trainers on various topics, including hip-hop theory, vocals, rap, and dance. Outstanding participants will have the chance to take the YG trainee selection test.

The recruitment is open to individuals residing in South Korea, born between 2008 and 2012, with no agency or contract affiliation. They can choose one of the three fields—vocals, rap, or dance—in which they feel most confident and apply to participate online by August 6th.

YG stated that they planned ‘YG CAMP’ with the hope of alleviating curiosity about auditions and sharing diverse know-how. They also expressed their desire for many aspiring talents with passion and unlimited potential to show interest in the camp, as they believe these individuals will lead the future of K-pop.

Detailed information about ‘2023 YG CAMP’ can be found on the YG audition website and their social media channels.
