Chae Soo Bin joins “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”, to meet Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop?

Actress Chae Soo Bin is set to join the film adaptation of the famous web novel “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”.

According to Sports TV News on May 26th, Chae Soo Bin has received an offer to appear in the film “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” and is currently in negotiations.


In particular, Chae Soo Bin has been offered the role of Yoo Sang Ah. In the original story, Yoo Sang Ah is a colleague who works in the same company as the protagonist Kim Dok Ja. They embark on a survival journey together, as the world perishes on their way home from work. 

“Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is based on a popular web novel of the same name. It tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world, where only the male lead Kim Dok Ja knows the ending, and he struggles to survive.

The original web novel started serialization in 2018 and has accumulated over 200 million views, making it a mega-hit. As one of the most anticipated adaptations of a super popular web novel, the film has garnered high expectations from fans of the original work and the regular viewers alike.

Ahn Hyo-seop

Previously, it was reported that actor Ahn Hyo Seop has received an offer to play the role of Kim Dok Ja, the protagonist, while actor Lee Min Ho is currently reviewing an offer to portray Yoo Jong Hyuk, the hero of a novel within Dok Ja’s original world.

Meanwhile, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is produced by Realies Pictures, the production company behind the blockbuster film “Along with the Gods”,  which attracted over 10 million viewers.

Casting is currently underway, and the goal is to start filming within 2023. A huge amount of production cost has been invested and a copyright contract has been signed for the production of 5 feature films for theatrical use.
