Young idol prospects from all over the world participated in HYBE’s multi-label audition and shouted out their role models, such as BTS, Seventeen, TXT, Zico…
On April 8th (local time), HYBE‘s multi-label audition was held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel South Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The audition featured 7 labels of HYBE in the area where BTS’ concert was held. Big Hit Music, Belief Lab, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, HYBE Labels Japan and HYBE America participated in this four-day event.
The scale of the audition was truly enormous. About 13,000 applicants submitted applications online. It was crowded regardless of gender, race, country, or age. 7 labels under HYBE are expected to gather in one place and collaborate to discover artists in the field where each label can perform its best and to discover and foster artists with various music genres, cultures and backgrounds.
An official from HYBE told iMBC Entertainment about the multi-label audition’s strong points, “7 HYBE labels hold the audition in one place, so it is suitable for even those who are willing to participate in the audition but hesitate because they are not sure their capabilities will fit into which label.”
He added, “Through the multi-label audition, you can effectively utilize the multi-label system that HYBE has. An opportunity to show the advantages of HYBE’s unique multi-label system through more optimized procedures and efficient use of resources.”
Regarding the background of the Las Vegas event, he said, “HYBE always tries to provide fun and immersive experiences to fans. Auditions involving a number of HYBE’s labels will be held during the same period in Las Vegas, where BTS’ concert is held, to bring another joy to fans from all over the world.”
